Your Sculpture class will begin with a Blue – Peter style  demonstration from our tutor, before you get stuck into creating your own masterpiece! We recommend you bring a picture of what you would like to sculpt for your reference throughout. These super fun and chilled out classes are suitable for adults and children of all ages and abilities, so come on down, unleash your creativity and have some fun!

The class lasts 2 hours typically, and your finished pieces will remain to be fired up in the kiln. You have 3 options for the final finish

1. Bisc Fired only (This will turn your clay into ceramic, but leave a matt finish that you can then paint at home.

2. Clear Glaze Finish (This higher firing incorporates a clear, glossy finish on your sculpture which is cream in colour)

3. Painting (You can return to take part in one of our pottery painting classes and decorate your sculpture with coloured glaze, this is an additional class and will incur a £24.50 surcharge.)

Your piece(s) will be ready to collect approximately 4 weeks after your class.

If you are booking in Children under the age of 16, you must remain in the building to supervise them. With that in mind please let us know in advance if you need extra space at the table, otherwise you may have to wait in the shop, or better yet, book yourself in as well to make your own sculpture!

We have a strict 1 week advance notice policy for rescheduling or cancelling bookings.

Aim to arrive 10-15 minutes early to give plenty of time to get the Car Parked and get all sorted.

Parking and Traffic The Moira Roundabout can have heavy traffic at times, plan your journey with google maps to account for traffic and ensure you arrive on time. We don’t have our own carpark, so we’d recommend parking at the free Moira Library Car Park which is a 2 minute walk from our studio.

If someone in your group has a disability please note this when checking out so we can best cater for their needs.
